It May Never Be 100% Perfect
You just can't keep on waiting until that 100% perfect moment comes, before you make your move, or you act. If you want to wait like that, you may never act at all, because it's really hard for things to be 100% perfect. If you're a businessman, you should understand this very well. So you work with what you have. Don't use this as an excuse. Whenever probability is on your side, you must act. It may not be 100% perfect.
There will always be risk of failure. So many people don't realize this simple truth. There's no way you spin it, you can't escape this reality. You just have to learn to manage the risks involved. But searching for a perfect business to get into is not the way to go. There's no perfect business out there. You make it what it is, with your knowledge and skills.
In most cases, the 80/20 rule still applies. You will tend to see a business that is 80% perfect. Your skill and knowledge and how you can handle and manage risks will increase that probability. Hence, your chances of success will increase proportionally. It's almost as though, you make up for the remaining 20% by yourself. This is where information and study come in, finding that business that has a high propensity of succeeding. Such that you only need to put in not so much effort to make things work.
Unsuccessful people will always give a reason why they ended up that way. If you pay close attention, you'll here things like the timing wasn't right, they didn't have the perfect amount of money, they weren't perfectly fluent at speaking a particular language etc. Several excuses, but what you must realize is that some other people had it worst early on in life. Don't feel that you can give excuses because of the imperfections of your background or upbringing. Those may play some roles in becoming successful more easily. But ultimately, it depends on you.
I remember a statement that goes like this - Don't expect the situation to be perfect, work hard so that you'll be perfect for the situation. Don't wish that life is easier for you, wish that you're always greater than the challenges that life throws your way. And you'll always be victorious and successful.
In the real estate business, you show some people a particular building and they may raise their voices and say; this is a complete mess, it's not perfect. Giving excuses here and there. Another person will buy that same property and turn it into something beautiful and make money from it. Do not be that individual that always complain about the imperfections of things. Look closely at the advantages that you can find in that imperfect situation. And see how you can magnify the advantages to your own profit, because it may never be 100% perfect.

Perfection does not exist and therefore cannot be expected, to do so is to miss opportunities or to devalue something that is in good condition. In the real estate business and in any other business, there is no such thing as a property that lacks nothing, there are always details that depending on the candidate to buy it will have to be changed.
