Emotions running high for most South Africans today the 7th of April, as we march for the fall of a corrupt president who has sucked this country dry to the bone.

We have one of the most beautiful, warm and friendly countries in the world, but today we are standing together to fight for our country, ruled by an unworthy president.

Some thoughts from fellow South Africans.

Today I march for change. I march for what I believe is right. I march AGAINST corruption and a man who cares only for himself. I march for the children, the disabled, the poor, the elderly and for those who have no voice.

I love my country and so today I stand united with our people.

Zuma is not so bad, not even Mbeki could unify a nation like this.

Durban – Residents of Durban woke up on Friday morning to the sight of two massive anti-Zuma banners on a four-storey building on busy Matthews Meyiwa Road (formerly Stamford Hill Road), a short distance away from the starting point of a march that is part of nationwide demonstrations against President Jacob Zuma planned for Friday.

BREAKING NEWS: Rubber bullets fired as protesters and police clash in downtown Johannesburg. Always sad that we cannot have a protest in this country without it becoming violent.

It is heartbreaking that most of us are starting to feel we have no other choice but to leave this country our forefathers worked so hard to build. We have no future, we have no hope. Here are some motivators why people leave this country!

Unemployment

The unemployment rate in South Africa fell to 26.5 percent in the last three months of 2016 after reaching a 12-1/2-year high of 27.1 percent in the previous period.

White Genocide in South Africa!

One of many articles, stated in wikipedia about white genocide: The South African farm attacks (Afrikaans: plaasmoorde; "plaas" = farm, "moorde" = murders) are an ongoing trend of violent attacks on farmers in South Africa. Between 1994 and March 2012, there had been 361,015 murders in all of South Africa and between 1990 and March 2012, there had been 1,544 murders on South African farms of which 208 of the victims were black.[1] In January 2015, AfriForum reported that there has been an increase in farm attacks and murders in the previous five years.

The question remains though: Will this protest carry any merit, will we be able to free our country from bondage by a corrupt president???!!!

Keep loving, smiling, reading, writing and voting!!!

Thank you. From one South-African to another, this has to end. If we are powerless within our own country, let the world hear and see the truth!

I agree 100%. Most peole are uninformed on what is truly happening here. We live in a beautiful country but cannot even take a walk as women in a group at our botanical gardens to appreciate it, due to the fear for our safety. Our kids are becoming obese because we fear to let them walk or cycle to school. It is soo sick. Sad thing is, the poor will be stuck here, getting raped and murdered.
