Krabi Day 3 - Gratitude #56

It was very windy this morning and the sky was dark. We wanted to go to town but weren’t sure if we should. Didn’t want to get caught in the rain again. And #5 wasn’t feeling well because she hasn’t fully recovered from dengue. Might have walked too much yesterday.

After about an hour we decided to brave the weather and go to town, leaving #5 behind to rest. It was a good decision because the weather turned out to be great. We managed to buy gifts and #5 had a good rest.

We’d had enough of restaurant food so for lunch we had cup noodles which was really tasty. One thing we found about the food here is there isn’t really much variety. Even the cup noodles were either pork or tom yum flavoured. And everything was in Thai. There was no English on the packaging so it was very difficult to choose!

Last night we noticed there were food stalls near the villa so we decided we’d get tonight’s dinner from there. There were lots of seafood restaurants along the road but #1 and #5 were too tired to go out so #6 and I walked down to get some street food. I wanted to buy durians for them (I don’t eat it) but too bad the vendor wasn’t around.

The food wasn’t great and some were very oily but the great company made up for it. The rest of the night was spent chatting, laughing, and bonding ❤️
