From October to December is my favourite time of the year from Halloween right up to Christmas and we are soon heading for that big day when Santa will be coming to see us. We have one more day of November then it's action stations count down to Christmas. So glad I already got my turkey last week which is in the Freezer ready for the big day.

Christmas this year will be extra special, this is because this Christmas is just us, I and my partner and in 19 years that has never happened, it was either us going to the family or the family coming to us. But this year I want a quiet one where can get up and just chill out, drink when I want to and just relax in front of the TV or watching a movie and the best bit eating!!!!

So because its our first christmas we are going over board, tree is up now and we are starting to decorate the house. I have included some pictures with our progress so far, still have plenty of decorations left and next will be moving on to the dining room next. Join me as I decorate the house for christmas.

Santa and snowman I bought from Netherlands

I have had these for a seriously long time, I love collecting Santa's from different places I have yet to find a authentic Bulgarian Santa.

The tree

I have always been brought up with an artificial tree so I kind of kept it going the tree is a silver and blue theme all the ornaments are silver and when the lights are on they are a beautiful ice blue colour.

I tried to get a pic with the lights on but it looks like a Blue Blur.

A very special Lamp

This lamp was given to my by my late mother in law who passed in 2012, I love it so much and it holds a very special place in the home.

I wish I could do a 360 photo you can imagine what it is like when the fire is lit and the lights are off, its amazingly cozy, I will update more progress when the dining room is done.
