Vegetable Smoothies Straight From The Garden!
Hey everyone how healthy, nutritious and delicious is this? I recently purchased myself a liquidizer (food blender) My thoughts in purchasing this over a juicer was simply rather eat the whole vegetable then separating all the amazing fibre from the juice?
Before we get to that lets go have a sneaky peak at the garden. Here I have another row of Nebula black carrots. These basically went straight to seed, this is normally a sign of nutrient deficiency, what I plan to do on the next row of carrots is use my incredible Urine Fertilizer mix, be sure to check out my other blogs on that nasty yet effective miracle plant food!
A rather pretty flower and unless you have ever grown Carrot's would not have seen these before. Carrot flowers in this case Black Nebula flowers!
Here I have 5 rows of mielies (corn) I stagger planted them one a week so when harvest times come we have a nice supply weekly for months . I plan to keep planting them through summer, it should be really nice my first time growing mielies!
Here we have a row of my Spinach, Planted some Carolina reapers in this row too as well as other chilli's I just cannot wait to make some epic chilli sauce with garlic, pepper's and olive oil. I am a total chilli nut and what better than to harvest them from your garden!
The bottom pic was a damaged chilli plant. I used my super duper urine fertilizer and it has caught up with the others nicely. I plan to do the test for another month comparing the fertilized and non chilli's to get a nice comparative to see the growth progress with and without fertilizer!
The kale and spinach are a favourite of mine chopped up with carrots and beetroot. I can't wait for the apple and persimmons to fruit, I will put that all in the food blender and make an amazing healthy smoothy!
All chopped up add some water, sucrose chill and drink.. Yum!

I make some shakes of cucumber, pineapple, lemon, ginger, celery you can also add mint for celery, they are very refreshing.
Sounds interesting we have a fruit orchard here Apples and Persimmons coming into season soon those promise to be amazing in the mix, Cucumbers any good nutritionally? Cheer$;)
Your smoothie looks deelish! I love kale in smoothies, avocado, beets, those dark earthy flavors are addictive. I haven’t convinced my family yet, but give me time!
