Hey everyone, I was recently in search of some more epic bee pics, these are always a welcome and interesting surprise, albeit when they are in the worm/caterpillar phase I do not enjoy them much in my vegetable gardens, they can be very destructive.
You may be wondering why he is playing along so nicely? Basically the lights are on but no one is home. I found it on the ground, may just have died but still in immaculate condition.
Butterflies are also very good pollinators (naturally not as good as bees) albeit way less in numbers relative to bees.
Apparently one gets an app to identify everything from flora to fauna, anyone know what it is called and what this butterfly is? I would much appreciate some clarity in the comments below?
I took a few more snaps and laid him to rest.
