Bees and Potjie!!
Hey everyone, I trust you are all having a fantastic festive season? This was a rather interesting experiment. We do many feral bee rescues and in doing so have a lot of excess honey comb. What we do with these is melt them down to sell for wax.
The problem with this method is it is rather messy, time consuming and does not render too much wax, I really need to get a solar still (all in good time).
The bees however love it as can be seen here.

Basically what I saw in the video was some pots where the comb went into to melt down? Was there a crack or something for the bees? Were they supposed to be doing that or was that the wax you were trying to get?
