How do you spend lockdown?

Hey everyone, so I guess it's no secret that we are living in rather treacherous times, scary indeed. My peronal biggest drama is that I have not seen my 2 month old infant son in 5 weeks and it's tough I wont lie, he's growing up without his Dad, BUT I find trying to not to over think things works and keeping busy...

One thing really nice about Sunny South African is we really are big into our 'braai's' (BBQ) and I do them often..

This is my home-modified gas/woodfire hybrid, the only type on earth?? I modified this unit so that depending on the mood and weather, right side I use tradition charcoal or firewood and on the left gas, very novel and convenient indeed. On this fine evening a nice Wood-fire, ribrack and freshly picked veggies out of the garden!

That led light I installed on the braai for night time use, when the battery dies simply put into the solar system for an hour or two to charge. It does not get more sustainable and off-grid than this?

We have 6 dogs on the premesis 2x boerbull's 2x dachund's a Jackrussel and a Rhodesian Ridge-back they tend to keep me company too especially when food is up for grabs!

All that said as far as lockdown is concerned, I guess it could be worse right?
