Nothing beats solid wood Furniture/Art to lighten up ones humble abode in my opinion, I just love wood in its 'rawest' form and here fantastic examples of just that.

The artist formed this wood in such a fashion that he kept the 'rustic vibe' whilst still moulding/shaping the wood into a form more useable, tables, chairs, clocks etc!

What a mouthful that was, to simplify what I meant was basically not painting natural wood, crazy weird and wonderful colours. I never understand why folks paint wood, it really is so pretty in its natural form.

I recently went with my landlord to go and have his lawnmower repaired, this was a nice opportunity to take some pics of these superb wooden creations in the same store. They repair and sell everything from lawnmowers to chainsaws, knives, axes, and naturally all these cool wooden creations.

My favourite was this natural wooden coffee table. Two logs sawed in half, varnished, and Bob is your Fathers brother, one by coffee table sorted!

The table featured above a nice glass top, this one however not, a little smaller and carrying a hefty price tag of R3500 around $250 not too expensive I guess based on the amount of work that goes into creating such a spectacular work of art.
