Travel to...Boccadasse

Boccadasse is a fishing village belonging to the Italian city of Genoa. It is located in the eastern part of Genoa, at the foot of Via Aurora, a typical narrow street in Liguria.

The origin of the name is uncertain, one of the most plausible hypotheses is that the name comes from the shape of the bay where Boccadasse is located, so the name should be the abbreviation that the Genoese do when referring to the mouth of the donkey - bócca d'âze. Another theory is that the name comes from the river that passed through the village, Asse.

Boccadasse Village attracts tourists. It is located in a narrow bay in the eastern part of Cape Santa Chiara with a castle (a new building in the style of a medieval castle) on the west side of the rocks, and in the middle a small beach where small boats of locals.
It's a great place that fascinated me. Before going on vacation I searched for a lot of information about Genoa and I happened to find pictures of this place. I told myself that I had to get to this great place ... that was said and done.

Sufficient from Genoa to Boccadasse was not hard at all ... although two buses must be changed ... the place is one that I can not really describe in words ... and how to say that a picture makes a thousand words , let you watch the pictures and want to get there too.
