Tales of childhood - Travel to Fussen

in #travel7 years ago

You remember remember the tales of childhood? Tales of princesses which finally got into the prince's castle where they lived a life like in the stories, a castle impressively with turle and towers to see... Well, this castle exists, and it is the inspiration of the castles of Disney Land.

Füssen area is one of the most important tourist attractions of Germany from several reasons. Positioning in an idyllic area at the foot of the Alps, Bavarian traditionalism and last but not least its castles make this region a touristic objective what is essential for those who want to see Germany.

Füssen is a town of about 15,000 inhabitants located in the southern part of the country, several kilometers from the border with Austria recognized in the world for the production of violins. I have visited the area twice until now, and I am convinced that I did the same thing tourists make it in general: I left him in the second city plan itself, focusing on the two castles for the famous names of the area: Hochenschwangau Schloss and especially Neuschwanstein Schloss. As an indication for those who do not know the German language, Schloss means castle.

In the short walk through the little town of Füssen I found that, although it is small relative, from the point of view of the architectural style of the Bavarian shows the classic, with different houses and buildings based on wood while the Bavarian cuisine is classic. I have recognized a building, namely Sf Mang Monastery, a building in the Baroque style, nicely painted on the outside. Just as I remember, it's true that I scoured the city no more than 1 hour.

Hochschwangau Neuschwanstein castles and are located in the vicinity of the city, in the town, and somehow Hochenschwangau have a relation of kinship.

If the majority of the world knows the story Neuschwanstein, castle of Ludwig II of Bavaria, the other castle belonged to his father, the king Maximilian II, being practically living in which Ludwig of childhood.

The two castles relative are situated close to each other, on two hills located opposite each other. Both castles are therefore related to the name of Ludwig II, a great lover of art. During life was the admirer and a sponsor of the great German Composer Richard Wagner, whom he supported financially in order to stage a few work as well as through support of the famous classical music festival in Bayreuth (place of registration of Wagner)

Hochenschwangau is located on a hill forest and up it may be relatively easy to step. Got up, place is ideal for a superb view over the Neuschwanstein Castle, but also on the lake Alpensee, located on the opposite side. The latter is a beautiful mountain lake, with a water so blue and clear that breathtaking. In the area are extremely many tourists, the crowd is irritating Taraza's voice, Alpensee being in my opinion an oasis of peace in this area full of bustle.

Schloss Neuschwanstein is above placed. The Castle is superb, and, although she might wait a while before you make a picture as you want because of congestion, I think they deserve. The beauty of the area but is charming, each time, got up, I asked myself if there was a place more beautiful to place such a castle.

very beautiful place !!

Fresh air, a lot of tourists, noise of cars. But the place it's more than relaxing. Sometimes I have no words for it.

I know that it has nothing to do with the topic right now, but I really like your hair! Furthermore, I like your posts very well, and I'm happy for you, that it also reflects in your upvotes!
And now to your contribution: It is very interesting that you write about your trip to Germany and that came now really coincidental for me, because I am German. I was born here, and live here my whole life, not in the south, but in the northwest. Unfortunately, I was not yet at Schloss Neuschwanstein, but it will certainly happen someday.
Keep it up!
