Color Challenge — Indigo Saturday — 3 Shades of Indigo

I had to look online to see what indigo looked like.

In my mind it was a dark inky shade of blue I used when I was a kid in school. There are so many shades of it of course.

Indigo is one of the most beautiful colors in my opinion. To my eye, it is a dark blue black with just the smallest hint of red, giving it a purple hue. Not much purple, just enough to differentiate it from navy blue.

A moon rise sky is not dark indigo yet although a definite shade of what is to come.

The night time indigo sky helps the moon shine.

One last hue of indigo—an historic house in Turkey Point,
