baby it's cold outside
I really can't stay (but baby, it's cold outside)
I've got to go away (but baby, it's cold outside)
This evening has been (been hoping that you'd drop in)
So very nice (I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice)
I simply must go (but baby, it's cold outside)
The answer is no (but baby, it's cold outside)
You've really been grand (I thrill when you touch my hand)
But don't you see? (how can you do this thing to me?)
Baby, it's cold
Baby, it's cold outside

Wow these photos are stunning! I especially like the one with the bench and the tree. Such a cool holiday atmosphere.
Yes that one is my favorite too. I have taken photos of benches wherever I go. I like them. Thanks for your input @alcibiades.
magical Christmas postcard photos, each one a vignette of wintry joy. The common element is water that seems to add depth and a sense of chill to the photos. Is that Santa in the prow of that boat? Seems appropriate here :)
Prow? I've never heard that word before - had to look it up :)
Well it's not Santa, Santa....just a helper. The real Santa is still up at the North Pole doing his finishing touches for the big night.
Each photo is a cold water photo....I'm kind of organized that way.
I LOVE that song! I think the Dean Martin Martina McBride version is my fav. Of curse I like them both individually.
Hope they get the sailboat out before it freezes!
I love this song as well. I don't think I've heard Martina McBride sing it. I'll check it out on youtube. I like the vintage feel to the song and Dean Martin did a great version of it as well. I don't know if I have a favorite on this one though.
I think that sailboat will stay until a thaw. The whole pond is a Christmas palooza of lights and everything Christmas, from Jesus to Santa Claus and choo choo trains and some pretty gawdy ornaments. But I love visiting it.
I hope the ice doesn't ruin the boat!
Oooh, I like this.....it's amazing how a dead singer and an alive one can coordinate like this! lol.....but I do like it. I know Nat King Cole and his daughter sang together via hologram.....now she's gone.....but I love this genre of music anyways. I call it coffee shop music.
Thanks for posting the song for me!!
I know some folks probably think its creepy, but I like it... I don't know if you saw her video she did with Elvis... Can I post it here...I don't want to take over your page. I guess you can flag me lol. But it is a must see, coz not only good singing but a video too. And Christmas too LOL.... Blue Christmas...And have a good weekend!
Of course you can post on here!! It's not spam and its appropriate to the topic and everyone else will enjoy it :) You have a great weekend too.
Love it how you make winter and cold weather more enjoyable and fun.
You must be up to your hips in snow by now....didn't you get a lot lately? I think that's what I saw on the news. My son lives in Squamish and I think he said just north of him got hit with a lot.
Right now I live in Penticton, which is 45 minutes away from Kelowna and we don't get much snow here and so far we don't have any which is good.
I was thinking of Pemberton.....ha.....
Looks really cold there! here it's raining now, so the weather is not too much cold, fortunately ^_^
Yes it's -16C outside.....snow blowing a bit but bone chilling cold.
Beautiful shots! I love the winter :)

Thanks for sharing @countrygirl
Happy Holidays!
Thank you so much @gavinthegreat!
Wow looks a lot colder the here brrr. Kinda appealing though !
Where in the world are you?
Winter is very appealing. Although cold, if we dress warm it is enjoyable to get outside - as long as the wind chill isn't too bad....otherwise, my face doesn't see the light of day :)
North England. Were only down to minus 3 at the mo thing further down south they ha -13 thought brrr. Hoping for a white xmas this year !
I'll hope with you. We haven't had a white christmas in so many years.....so this is nice.
Thanks yer last decent one I remember was 1986! Fingers crossed
A long, long time ago...when I was but a young woman, I remember walking one cold rainy Christmas night, hand in hand with a handsome young man...He went on to be a very good, close friend but not the marrying kind. Sigh...
How romantic @cecicastor.....do you still talk to him?
Whadayamean it's cold outside?
It's 21 degrees already ;-)
Lovin' summer.
I hope even if it is cold outside, it is nice and warm inside where you are.
aw....you're so sweet. It's warm inside....fire going, food on.....it's -16C right now.....brrrrrr......
