BELGIAN LEAGUE OFF-SEASON NEWS UPDATE
Moeskroen continues to be active on the transfer market with now Deni Hocko joining the team. He is a midfielder and comes over from Famalicao where was one of the key players who helped the team promote to the 1st division in Portugal. He also got selected once for the national team of Montenegro. He signed for 3 years.
Vadis Odidja was one of the key players for AA Gent last season and he will be staying with the team despite having the opportunity to make a transfer.
The player and the team have an agreement and the medical tests have been done making the transfer of Ritchie De Laet to Antwerp official. This is only their 2nd incoming transfer and mostly because the long term injury of Opare who will be out at the start of the season.
Sint-Truiden breaks their outgoing transfer record getting 9 Million for the defender. Last records was De Norre who went for 4 Million to Racing Genk. 21-year-old Thibault De Smet will come over from AA Gent as replacement for De Norre who left Last season.
More key players from Cercle Brugge are leaving the team. After Mercier, also Bruno and Gakpé are on their way out. The team who also has a new coach will have to build things up again so It might be quite a struggle early on in the season. The closely work with AS Monaco and will soon get around 8 players who can come and get some experience from them.
The calendar has been released even though it's still not 100% sure who will play in the 1st league. The league will restart on Friday 26/07/2019. This is what the first week will look like...
