A Message to My Followers
Hi followers.
This is me attempting to open a dialogue with all of you. This is posted like every other post for anyone to see, but know that if this popped up on your feed then it is directed at you.
I'm a little over one week into Steemit and I've accumulated approximately 60 followers. That's a lot of people paying attention to me. I want to make sure that what I'm providing your feeds with is something that you're interested in.
You Write What You Know
Most of you, like me, have specialized interests in which we are posting about. That doesn't mean I can't learn, and I want to learn about what you're into. I am and have been dedicating quite a bit of time to Steemit. I like to learn. If you ask my wife she'll tell you that she's a "Steemit widow." Let's see how she feels when they approve her account...
The Foundation of Our Success is Based on Other People
I don't want to treat my followers as a pond of potential upvotes. I, personally, don't want you to be my anonymous news feed, and I don't want to be that for you either. I don't have a news feed. I don't bother with RSS on my email, I don't regularly visit a single news source. I just don't believe them. Call it a writer thing.
Your thoughts, your feelings, your experiences, your desires, your needs. Not all of Steemit's followers. You. My followers. You are my news. Your posts give me a headline of what you're doing, and that's helpful. I want to dig a little deeper here within this post. I want you to participate.
He's Finally Getting to the Point
I want to open a dialogue with you. I want your comments. I want to hear what you want to see more of, in the comments, on this post. How can I enhance your experience by posting more meaningful and imminent material that you will appreciate and benefit from? Don't hold back. That's what I want to know as well as strengthen our rapport. I want to get to know you. I want to know what makes you tick, I really do.
I always try very hard to reply to every single comment on my posts, as well as replies to comments I've made on others. I think I've been successful at that so far, and I plan to keep it that way.
I'm addicted to Steemit, so that kinda means I'm addicted to all of you. Maybe that's a stretch. Nevertheless, I want us to be a more cohesive unit.
I Want to Brighten the Shit Out of Your Day.
I want to make the most of the time you give me. Help me do it. Let's build a relationship together. There's nothing off-limits. My ears are open.
Beautiful message to your followers .. 👌
I love comments because I feel that's where the community really happens. One way I try to encourage comments on my post is to always upvote non-spammy ones. I'm hoping people will start to realize that if they come visit me and really engage me, even briefly, it will pay off a little bit for them. :)
I'll keep that in mind. Followed, Geke. Nice meeting you today.
I want to see a picture with you
There's the intro pic I've got but I'll get you a better one.

the idea of steemit style seo sounds interesting. I can see who upvoted me though. I have a fiction post that is my most lucrative post so far. It has the most upvotes but was also upvoted by a whale.
I think what you're getting at in your post is that...effort is one thing....but we need to be smart. We don't know what or why, completely, makes money. We're learning. It's not a bad thing. Who wants to work tirelessly their whole life to survive?
nice message to your followers:)
Thanks.
welcome:)
