White Christmas by Bing Crosby - Ukulele Cover
Hi Friends!
This is my first Christmas carol of the year - and this feels super nostalgic for me, because last year doing a ton of Christmas carols was a big jumpstart to my time on Dtube. I had just barely started using Dtube in November, and then really started using it nearly every day to record different season songs. I had so much fun filming with different festive backgrounds, in different Christmas sweaters, and switching around with my different instruments (flute, ukulele and piano). I even talked a few of my friends to join me for some duets.
Creating those videos for Dtube is what got me really exciting about making regular video content and I started vlogging shortly after.
This year I wanted to start with White Christmas because that also feels a bit nostalgic for me. The very first time @maryjaney made an appearance here on Steemit was when her and I did a flute and violin duet on Christmas morning in the SNOW! We were so lucky to get a white Christmas last year and I'm keeping my fingers crossed we get snow again this year!
It's so fun to think about that being Mary's first appearance here - because now we not only have the Steem Sister Show together, but she's even traveled with me to two Steem events. Crazy how things can turn out sometime! Perhaps we will do another flute and violin duet this year on Christmas morning!

Oh man it feels SO good. I didn't realize how much I have missed making music on my page. Things were simpler when I all I had to think about was what song I felt like learning that day. Excited to hopefully get back to making more music here. :)
So funny you mention my hair! My roots are my natural color - but I have some blonde coloring throughout the rest. When I wear a hat and you can't see the darker roots - it makes me look WAY more blonde. haha

I play for fun when the children is in the mood of making music. And surely not convenient for me to video it and post on Dtube. Lol... What a mess!!! =) so we hope for white Christmas although at my side here, there is never white. Haha. One season our whole life.
