Dtube Exclusive // You and I by Ingrid Michaelson (Ukulele Cover)
You guys... I have MISSED my ukulele! I was out of town for four days in Las Vegas, and have so busy since I got back that it has been a week since I last played.
It felt good this afternoon to sit down and just jam to a couple of my favorite songs. You and I by Ingrid Michaelson is actually the FIRST song I learned to play on the ukulele, so it holds a special place in my heart.
I love singing this song because of it's playful nature. It also has some fun vocal aspects to it - such as an entire octave jump in the chorus!
After playing around with this song today, I realized that I didn't have it up on my Dtube channel yet! What an oversight. I hope you guys enjoy hearing me jam out to one of my favorite ukulele songs.

My nephew is really good at playing piano. So is my Dad. I played the drums some in middle school, but besides that, I am not musically inclined. You have a real gift with your ukulele and singing abilities. Thank you for sharing Lea. Looking forward to more :)
