My first gold coin
Today I would like to tell you about the first (and only right now) gold coin. It is the 1945 Dos Pesos and its an awesome coin. I got it from a girl I dated tor awhile as a group of coins she had gotten from someone who had past away (I knew the guy and he was awesome). this is the one she wanted to hold onto and I said if you ever wanted to sell it let me know. That's when she handed it to me and said pay me when you can (awesome right)
Obverse side displays the Coat of arms of Mexico depicting a Mexican golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus devouring a snake. The reverse side includes the denomination surrounded by a garland wreath.
The coin was produced by the Mexican Mint, which is the oldest mint in North America. The Mexico City Mint produced gold pesos in denominations ranging from two pesos to fifty. Each denomination shared a common design with the 2 peso gold coin being the smallest denomination gold coin issued for circulation by the United Mexican States

I managed to get one of these very tiny gold pesos. Had to get one of those magnifying glasses after all I'm as blind as a bat.
right thinking about getting it graded just so I don't lose it lol
