Family Dinner

So this is Glace (Dough-buttons) with Salad and Salmon Loaf

I figure this meal deserves a bit of back story, as it is now a tradition to eat it every single one of my Dads Birthdays. My parents both grew up really poor, my Dad even more so. Living on a farm, sometimes you had to make food stretch as far as possible, and one of those meals that was always delicious and filling was this. Definitely not nutritious I will admit, but it is definitely good. Sourkraut mixed with boiled dough, with Croutons. That is essentially the ingredients that were involved with the glace, for the salmon loaf I don't want to particularly know what is in it but it involves canned salmon. I guess I am just thankful we don't have to eat this everyday anymore, with ketchup soup for lunch.
