Koch and Soros Team Up For World Peace! WTF?
In case you haven't heard, George Soros' Open Society Foundation and the Charles Koch Foundation have teamed up to help launch a new Washington think tank. The Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft will be "an action-oriented think tank that will lay the foundation for a new foreign policy centered on diplomatic engagement and military restraint." So what gives? What's the real agenda here? And what does this mean for those who hold a principled anti-war stance. Join James as he explores these issues on The Corbett Report today.

Anti-war is not equal to Pro-peace. Anti-war allows war to dictate the terms of engagement. The Pro-peace attitude spreads throughout the whole culture and is defined by Peace not War. War must be culturally eliminated. In a Pro-peace paraidigm, resources are used to live a peaceful life. They dont dream up schemes to play in the Hegelian dialectic game. Corporations are giant creatures of conquest. They live in a state of constant war because of their design. Ultimate motivations are fear and love. War and Bussiness use fear to motivate. When we switch to love, War and Conquest are completely off the table. It must start from the powerless. We must withdraw consent and power from the competition. Consume much less of everything. Have competitions of thrifty living and designing or modifying products to last for much longer. They win when we consume. Fix that problem and save our planet. That will be the real "IndepenDANCE Day"
I don't trust these guys at all. Also, James, the author didn't mention peace in that article at all. Soros and Koch didn't mention peace, either. You're the only one talking about peace!
