Under the Christmas Tree 🎄

Many Christian nationalities present the nativity scene (known in Greek as φάτνη) with model figures under the Christmas tree.
It is started in Italy in an attempt to give emphasis in Christmas and worship of the Christ instead of gift giving. Saint Francis of Assisi is credited with creating the first nativity scene in 1223 at Greccio.

For the last few years we have one that my dad made. It includes fake snow and light behind the scene. The models are not handmade but everything else is. Here it is:
