Dowry-A Contract For Marriage
Dowry is a big social evil that is very hard to eradicate fully. Its a big threat to a society. Practices of Dowry and its consequences are very dark.
In Pakistan Dowry is a big problem for girls. Mostly Parents of Groom demands Dowry from Bride's Parents. They demand high class furniture and other electronic appliances.Fulfilling these demands is imppssible for most of the parents. As a result a large number of girls go into Depression and awaits for a miracle to happen for them. This situation is horrible . Unfortunately , these kind of demands from Groom's parents is very discouraging for rest of the society.
Girls are getting aged due to these dowey issues.
In some cases the Parents of bride accepts all the demands. But this is not an easy to do for them. Mostly they have to be under debt to fulfill these requirements. They take loans just to make happy yo the family of Groom. They happily depart their daugher and after that rest of their life passes to return the loans. Just imagine how poor parents can bear all these expenditures. It is very challenging to keep happy to all of the family of Groom. This is very discouraging scenario.
We can make this tradition Burried but for this purpose to be fulfilled we have to be kind hearted to others. We should have to kill our inside greed. Our heart should be clean. We as a human should think that why we are making hard to be married?
The question is that how to stop such greedy dowry tradition? Actually there are solutions to overcome it but Government has to play the role. A bill Should be passed in natinal assembly against Dowry. Dowry concept should be banned. If any Family is found to be involved in Dowry Demand they should be arrested and fined heavily.
People should realize that greed cannot buy them a happy life. One can live a happy life only when the person clear paths for other. In other words to live a happy life you have to keep happy to others.
Believe me we togather can fight with this issue.
We just have to kill our own greed first.
