O Day of Rest and Gladness | Organ Hymn Improvisation Level 1 - Week 2
I'm currently undertaking @organduo's Organ Hymn Improvisation course. The course is delivered via trickle feed email over 16 weeks. I'm at least a couple of weeks behind now due to various commitments, but here is one of my improvisation exercises for "week 2". The hymn is called O Day of Rest and Gladness and I am required to add bass and soprano lines to this tune.
I will be keeping a log of my progress on Steem. Let me know what you think so far.

I would use a louder registration for the bass. Well done. Experiment with 3rds and 6ths in alternation. Much much too fast...
