One last shot of Danah from our recent day out in Greystones, Ireland.

This shot was taken with my Nikon D750 DSLR and 85mm 1.4G lens, a favorite combination of mine. A pinch of extra key light was provided by a Godox TT685n, modified by a Roundflash Dish, handheld by my assistant on the day, Orlaith. (Irish name, pronounced "Orr-La")..

You may notice I've started water-marking some of my images now. The reason for this is quite simple. I'm branching out from shooting exclusively stock photography, to providing a portrait service locally. Stock photographers have the luxury of relative anonymity, and not needing to promote oneself, but traditional photography services such as wedding and commercial shooters need to promote their brand at every opportunity.

When I quit shooting weddings I swore I would never go back to wedding photography (and I still won't) but I'm tentatively getting back to portrait photography as a local service, and this time I will be keeping the process extremely straightforward. Mobiles headshots, location shoots, simple, affordable packages, with room for cheeky extras.
