WARNING! - SBD Deposits Not Working On Poloniex
Just a heads up for anyone using the worlds most customer-hostile exchange.
SBD deposits to Poloniex are not happening right now. No warning. No statement on Twitter.
If you haven't been able to sign up for Bittrex yet, I suggest you avoid Poloniex, and use any good Bitcoin exchange, such as Kraken or Binance.
You can use @blocktrades to transfer/convert SBD over to Ethereum/Litecoin.

When I came on steemit my first exchange site was poloniex but then after few months poloniex had lot of problems with steem/sbd so I opened bittrex.
Now bittrex is closed I think :/
I got a STEEM transfer stuck in limbo, likely will need to wait a few weeks like the other times it has happened.
ya it's true actually the deposits are not working properly since yesterday and i also sent some sbd yesterday and my deposit not arrived in exchange yet.
I've heard some pretty bad stories about Poloniex, probably best avoided. Blocktrades is super easy to use and quick too.
Yeah I’ve never heard much good about them. Hopefully Bittrex allows new account sign ups soon.
Steem Wallet to Blocktrades to a local fiat exchange like LocalBitcoins or LocalEthereum is the way to go.
Better yet, start a SBD/STEEM to fiat exchange with other residents in your country.

Yea I'm also waiting for 4 hours now. I see my transfer to poloniex but it never arrived in my Poloniex wallet. Good it were just 15 SBD but still annoying. I have opened a ticket at Poloniex but no response yet.
PS: in the 6 weeks before I never had a problem and never had to wait more than 5 minutes
