Hello everyone, when I was walking through the city of BUENOS AIRES, MONSERRAT neighborhood, passing in front of the building of the ARGENTINE NATIONAL CONGRESS, it came to my mind to share with this great social platform as I call it, a little piece of history of my country, ARGENTINA, this building is the body that exercises the federal legislative power of the ARGENTINE REPUBLIC, the first building was inaugurated in 1864 and was located in the southwest corner of Av. ENTRE RIOS AND AV. RIVADAVIA. On February 20th of the following year, it was decreed to call for a bidding process to continue with the construction of the building, on the corner of AV. RIVADAVIA AND COMBATE DE LOS POZOS STREET, where the heights of the facades are 27.50 meters over HIPOLITO YRIGOYEN and 23.60 meters over AV. ENTRE RIOS, AV. RIBADAVIA Y COMBATE DE LOS POZOS, the same is located within an area of 9000 square meters, 430 square meters, was inaugurated in 1906 but was completed 40 years later, the building was built after an international design competition held in 1895, which was won by the Italian architect VICTOR MEANO.

In this photo where you can see the map of where the building of the ARGENTINE NATIONAL CONGRESS is located, it would be in CAPITAL FEDERAL, of the ARGENTINE REPUBLIC.

The truth is that when walking along the sidewalks of this historic building, which I consider a NATIONAL monument, for all that was lived in it, in its surroundings, demonstrations of all kinds, as well as beautiful moments where some president ascended, such as the last or the current one, as I said this building is witness to many anecdotes, good and bad, that over time, are being forgotten but not in its history.

From the center of the dome of the blue room, 65 meters high, hangs a huge bronze chandelier that weighs 2,054 kilos and measures 5.20 meters high and 20 meters in diameter, this dome, 80 meters high, is one of the largest in the city. The style corresponds to the high Italian academicism of the late nineteenth century, its structure is made of iron, supported in 4 parts and coated in copper, which in contact with the outside, gets the characteristic green color.

As you can see friends, I stopped at what would be the main entrance, which would be the entrance of honor on AV. ENTRE RIOS, which would be the central atrium and decorated with six Corinthian style columns, this gate that is observed, is sliding, where in the center is the ARGENTINE NATIONAL COAT OF ARMS and around the COATS OF THE 24 PROVINCES, of the ARGENTINE REPUBLIC, which also has a federal district which is the federal capital.

The enormous letters that we see were made or constructed in bronze, the meaning of these initials is, CONGRESS OF THE ARGENTINEAN NATION, in reference to this building.

Then looking straight ahead, on the left side of this entrance is the manifesto, made to the nations the general constituent congress of the united provinces of the RIO DE LA PLATA, on the treatment and cruelties before everything is the homeland, the fate and health of the state, the independence and constitution of the country. end to the revolution, beginning to order, recognition, obedience and respect for the sovereign authority of the provinces and peoples represented in the congress, and its determinations emanating from the same.

Hola a todos, en momento que me hallaba por rasones personales, caminando por la ciudad de BUENOS AIRES, barrio MONSERRAT, al pasar frente al edificio del CONGRESO NACIONAL ARGENTINO, me vino en mente de compartir con esta grandiosa plataforma social como la llamo yo, un pedacito de historia de mi pais, ARGENTINA, dicho edificio es el órgano que ejerce el poder legislativo federal de la REPUBLICA ARGENTINA, el primer edificio se inauguró en 1864 y se encontraba en la esquina sudoeste de las av. ENTRE RIOS Y AV. RIVADAVIA, El 20 de febrero del año siguiente, se decretó el llamado a Concurso, para continuar con la construccion de dicho edificio, en la esquina de AV. RIVADAVIA Y CALLE COMBATE DE LOS POZOS, en donde las alturas de las fachadas son de 27,50 metros sobre HIPOLITO YRIGOYEN y 23,60 metros sobre la AV. ENTRE RIOS, AV. RIBADAVIA Y COMBATE DE LOS POZOS, el mismo esta está emplazado dentro de una superficie de 9000 metros cuadrados, 430 metros cuadrados, se inauguró en 1906 pero recién se completó 40 años después, el edificio se construyó luego de un concurso internacional de proyectos realizado en el año 1895, que fue ganado por el arquitecto italiano VICTOR MEANO.

En esta foto en donde se encuentra el mapa , de donde se encuentra ubicado dicho edificio del CONGRESO NACIONAL ARGENTINO, seria en CAPITAL FEDERAL, de la REPUBLICA ARGENTINA.

La verdad que al transitar por la veredas de este historico edificio, al que concidero un monumento NACIONAL, por todo lo que se vivio en el, en sus alrededores, manifestaciones de toda indole, como asi tambien bellos momentos en donde ascendia algun presidente, como por ejemplo el ultimo o sea el actual, como dije dicho edificio es testigos de muchas anecdotas, buenas y malas, que al pasar el tiempo, se van quedando en el olvido pero no en su historial.

Desde el centro de la cúpula del salón azul, a 65 metros de altura, pende una enorme araña de bronce que pesa 2.054 kilos y mide 5,20 metros de altura y 20 metros de diametro, dicha cúpula, de 80 metros de alto, es una de las más grandes de la Ciudad. el estilo corresponde al alto academicismo italiano de fines del siglo XIX, su extructura es de hierro, apoyado en 4 partes y revestida en cobre, el cual al tener contacto con el exterior, obtiene el color verde caracteristico.

Como ven amigos, me detube en lo que seria la entrada principal, que seria la entrada de honor sobre la AV. ENTRE RIOS, que seria el atrio central y decorado con seis columnas estilo corintio, este porton que se observa, es corredizo, en donde en el centro se halla el ESCUDO NACIONAL ARGENTINO y a su alrededor los ESCUDOS DE LAS 24 PROVINCIAS, de la REPUBLICA ARGENTINA, que tambien tiene un distrito federal que es la capital federal.

Las enormes letras que vemos fueron elaboradas o construidas en bronce, el significado de esas siglas es, CONGRESO DE LA NACION ARGENTINA, en referencia a dicho edificio.

Luego mirando de frente, sobre el lado isquierdo de esta entrada se encuentra el manifiesto, hace a las naciones el congreso general constituyente de las provincias unidas del RIO DE LA PLATA, sobre el tratamiento y crueldades antes que todo es la patria, la suerte y salud del estado, la independencia y constitución del país. fin a la revolución, principio al orden, reconocimiento, obediencia y respeto a la autoridad soberana de las provincias y pueblos representados en el congreso, y a sus determinaciones emanadas del mismo.

Bueno, como dije es un sentimiento muy profundo el de pasar por dicho edificio y no sacarse una foto y como en este caso efectuar una buena discripcion de su historia, la verdad que en lo personal es muy profundo ese sentimiento.

Por tal motivo amigos les dejo este pedacito de historia, de algo que de es de interes nacional y del pueblo ARGENTINO, DE UN GRAN PAIS COMO LO ES ESTE.
