Clark's Nutcracker
Clark's nutcracker is a bird native to western North America that gets its name from the explorer William Clark of Lewis & Clark fame. I happened across this one while exploring Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. It was taking a break from fighting with the chipmunks and ground squirrels over tourist handouts when I snapped this shot.
So which do you prefer, the black and white or the color version?
It's got to be the colour version for me. He doesn't look quite so cold in that one.
Now that you mention it, it does look a bit cold in that first one. I still can't decide which I like better though.
ufff,, i love this kind of blue-black color so this time i'm gonna choose the second one ;) heheheh
Thanks! I expected everyone to go with the B&W, yall have surprised me.
Colored one for me too.
I for one, tend to prefer colored ones most of the time.
Beautiful, good choice the b&w!
Thanks!
