On Steemit, Voting is One of the Most Essential Social Functions. Any Small Upvote Helps to Assign Value to User's Content, Use Yours

So, how do you often upvote other people's posts to show them that their hard work was never in vain? Some of us believe that our migre upvote is worthless, thus we don't use it altogether. Most of us simply expect massive upvotes from curators and overlook the value of small upvotes in helping others. It can be disappointing to spend so much work on a single post and not receive a single vote.

Every steemian requires assistance, and we are here to provide it. Only relying on powerful curators will give the impression that Steemit is centralized, which it is not. People leave Steemit most of the time because of our perceptions and activities in our communities. So, how can we develop a community when others try to distance themselves from things that help the community grow?

How can one person achieve it all by themselves, knowing that we are all interdependent on Steemit and that we are only strong when we work together? I don't always have time to upvote and comment, but when I do, I try to visit as many posts as possible and give my small upvote.

Through curating, I hope to benefit the community in which I participate as well as develop my steem power. I feel that with our small upvotes and support in whatever manner we can, we can all help to expand steem communities.

If we recognize how much we need on each other to live and flourish on Steemit, we can accomplish more for our communities and ourselves. The ability to play your part as a community member can help to support community progress.
