How Do You See God?

A little boy was walking with his father when he saw an aeroplane in the sky. This was the first time the boy saw a real aeroplane. He wondered what the size of the aeroplane could be to have been carrying people. How can this small aeroplane carry so many people.. the boy said looking very confused.
The father said nothing but took him to the airport the next day in order to help him out his confusion and to teach the little boy lessons. When they reach the airport the boy saw many aeroplanes and this time they looked bigger. The aeroplane is indeed big! .. the little boy exclaimed. He then asked his father why the one he saw earlier looked so small.
Son, it was becuase of where you were standing, there was a great distance between you and the first aeroplane you saw but here in the airport you standing close to one, that's the only difference... the father said to the boy.
Friends that's how God is to us. We serve a mighty God who is beyond human description and human understanding. God is omnipotent, the all powerful God. God is not far from us, in fact He is more closer to us than even the cloth we wear.
You will always see God as small if you distant yourself from Him. Until you draw close to God you will always think From the story the boy actually thought aeroplanes looked too small to carry people until he got close to one and realised he had a wrong perception all this while.
That's how most Christians perceive God, they see Him to be very far. Until we draw near to God we will never see how big He is and we will never see how powerful He is.
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded
