Be a Light For Others

It is indeed a great privilege to be called by the Lord, no invitation can be compared to the one that God gives. Unless a person is called, he cannot come to the Lord, this why our called to be followers of Christ is a great honour and a privilage.

If you are have seen the light of God that shines in darkness to liberate those bound by its power it is by grace. The Lord is always calling out people to run to this light to be saved but it is only the few that pay heed to his voice.

The Prince of this world has blinded the eyes of men and has blocked their ears, hearing and seeing the truth about God is difficult for them. Such folks would rather appreciate what is evil and call it good and find a good reason to justify why they have embrace what all men see as evil.

Our duty is not to condemn them and see them as sinners whose rightful place is the lake of fire. We are to become their light for them to see the truth, for this reason the bible calls us light of the world.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under a bushel, but on a lamp stand; and it gives light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

We cannot be hidden and we should not think of hiding. We are like a city on a hill that the world looks up to. Many folks who are lost in darkness need to be told the truth constantly for the spirit of God to melt their stony heart so they cannot accept it.

We are the agent of change that the world needs, let's carry out God's divine mandate of preaching the gospel and shining our light to overcome the evil that rules in our world.
