A MAN BUT NOT LIKE ANY OTHER MAN #1
Though we are of the same kind and we are from the same source but each one of us has a unique feature that is distinctive from the others.
There is something about us which makes us so special. That spectacular feature about you is what makes you uncommon.
In the midst of the multitude there is always something that makes you stand out of the rest.
There exist peculiarities among us, we are not the same in terms of giftings, talents and callings of God on our life.
Besides our unique physical features we are assigned to different purposes in life.
You have heard more about the strongest man ever lived, Samson. His calling to be a deliverer of his people was pronounced when he was not yet born.
A man who had the strength of God when moved by the power of God, fearless, daring and invincible. He grew up to be exactly as predicted.
Samson even acknowledged that he wasn't just an ordinary man. He said there is something upon him that makes him so different from any other man. He said to Delilah:
“No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.” Judges 16:17 NKJV
The uncommon man in his latter life was now a nobody and a laughing stock.
If you don't handle your own life others will handle it for you and you may not like the end results.
Samson loses everything overnight because he failed to maintain the anointing on his life when the covenant seal "his hair" which allows the flow of God's spirit on him was broken . He became like any other man.
His reckless lifestyle and his inability to stay prayerful led to his downfall. Disregarding your weakness and prayer is deadly.
You maintain the anointing when you stay prayerful. Samson will only pray when there is trouble as it is happening in the life of many Christians today.
Prayerlessness drains the anointing exposing you to all forms of satanic abuses and attacks.
Your strength is that special thing God has given you which is very rare.
Don't let your strength leave you, else you will be like any other man or woman, work on your weakness and stay prayerful.
