I took a hike this afternoon hike near the North Fork Timber Swamp Brook in Howell, NJ and I was examining a grouping of trees that had a very strange (to me) pattern on their trunks.

In the midst of this, I stumbled upon something a little disturbing...

... it was what I believe to be the head of a Mattel 1974 Baby That-a-way doll.

It was mostly face-down and it had rooted hair and an inscription on the back of its neck that read: MATTEL INC 1974 U.S.A.

This head was very creepy looking, the way its left eye was just staring down into the ground. And there were weeds that had taken root in the doll's hair!

I was going to turn it over to get a better look at its face when, suddenly, the words BAD MOJO popped into my head and I thought that I better just leave it be!
