Next week I am back in the VPK classroom

I am so happy to be returning to the VPK classroom next week.

There will be a new teacher in there with me and 4 more students. 19 students 4 and 5 years old should not be a problem for 2 teachers right.

This should be a fun time. Starting out with the theme of winter wonderland. Getting to know a new teacher and 4 new students. Observing and getting to know what they are like being put n a new situation. Plus doing the testing on all 19 students. Testing is good if you use what you find out in the right way. It shows us where the children need to be helpen with in their learning before the go to kindergarten.

What my job is as a VPK teacher is giving them the knowledge to make kindergarten easier for them. Like writing their names,counting to 30,their alphabet by sight and writing the letters,writing their numbers and a lot of other things that would take me forever to write in here. And you would all get bored reading it.

We will be planting more seeds and growing more food for them to taste. It is something they love to do and I love doing it with the children.

I like teaching the 4 and 5 year olds more than the younger children. The best part is when you are teaching them something and you can actually see it when they get it.
