in Steem For Pakistan2 months ago

The month of Ramadan is a blessed month and the greatness of this month can be estimated from the fact that the Holy Quran was revealed in this holy month. The first decade of Ramadan is for mercy, the second decade for forgiveness and the thirteenth decade for salvation from the fire of hell.

It is said in the blessed hadith that “Ramadan is the month of Allah Ta’ala, which shows that Lord has a special relationship with this blessed month, due to which this blessed month is distinguished and different from other months. Therefore, we should take advantage of the blessings of this month and worship Allah and seek forgiveness for all our sins.

ASSALAMUALIKUM Everyone !

How are you all and how is the blessed month of Ramadan going on? As we all know the 3rd and last Ashra of this month has been started and will come to an end very soon which is very sad. May Allah Pak give us another chance to avail all the blessings of this month next year too. Amen

So today I have decided to share my iftaar routine so let's get started:-

SAHOOR TIME !

In this holy month, the day starts with sahoor as Muslims we have to follow the Ramadan calendar. As I live in Karachi my sahoor time is started at 3:30 am. After waking up all members of the family offer TAHAJJUD prayer. Then I go to the kitchen and start making sehri. In sehri, everyone has a different choice like an egg with paratha, curd with paratha, or sometimes gravy with paratha Lassi & tea. I usually prefer to eat curd with paratha and then a cup of tea.

After sehri, I offered Namaz-e-fajar and recited the Holy Quran. Then I went for a walk I usually walk for 30 min in the morning and 30 min in the evening. Lastly, I went to sleep.

IFTAAR TIME !

Around 3 pm I started preparing for iftaar & dinner because it takes time to cook a lot of things. So today's menu was.

  • Cream fruit chaat
  • Channa chaat
  • Pakoray
  • Samosas
  • Chicken rolls
  • Mango juice

For dinner :-

  • Qeema Gosht &
  • Salad

First I put white gram in the pressure cooker so that it rots. At the same time I started cutting onions, tomatoes and other vegetables. I have used gram, potato, onion, tomato, green chilies, tamarind chutney, mint chutney, and curd. Chop and mix all the ingredients well and it is ready.

For Cream Fruit Chaat I used seasonal fruits like Apple, Banana, Pomegranate, Grape, and Melon. I Washed all the fruits well, cut them, added a spoonful of sugar, mixed well, and kept them covered for ten minutes. At the same time, I took milk cream and added mayonnaise, a tablespoon of milk to it and beat it well. Finally, add milk cream to the fruits, mix well, and garnish with dry fruits on top.

As soon as the month of Ramadan begins, my husband brings the rest of the things like qeema samosas, and chicken rolls from the market in raw condition so that they can be fried and eaten hot. So today I fried samosas and rolls. Also, I ordered pakoras from the market.

Everything was ready before iftaar I just set the table 10 minutes before Azaan and called every member for iftaar. As soon as the call to prayer came, we all prayed, thanked Allah for all the blessings and broke the fast. After iftaar, everyone went for namaz e maghrib.

DINNER TIME !

For dinner, I made masaloo qeema matter. And prepared a salad with it. After the prayer, quickly made bread and put a meal on the table. Then we all had dinner. After dinner, I just helped my sister in law to clean the kitchen.

At the end of the day, tea is very compulsory. My sister-in-law made tea for all of us. After a long day, I came into my room and had a cup of tea. It was very relaxing. After namz e Esha I went to sleep.
