Eid-ul-Azha is the second Eid of the Muslim Ummah. Muslims also call this Eid the Great Eid and the Eid-ul-Qurban. This Eid is celebrated on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah of the Muslim Ummah. This Eid is celebrated in remembrance of the sacrifice of Hazar Ibrahim (a.s). On that day, Abraham, in obedience to God's command, intended to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ishmael (a.s). But Allah put a tail in its place and removed Ishmael from the place of sacrifice. Muslims have been celebrating this Eid since that day and have been sacrificing their animals. Later, they distribute the meat of this sacrifice among the orphans, the poor, the needy, the loved ones and relatives. Like Eid-ul-Fitr, the Muslim Ummah also celebrates on this day. They offer two rak'ats of Eid prayers in the Eid Gah, hug each other and greet Eid.

Chand Raat

As soon as the moon is announced, women go to the bazaars and wear bangles and apply henna with great enthusiasm. By the way, the moon of this Eid appears ten days before and the preparations for Eid start from that day. Despite this, there are many things that are done on the night of the moon, which is why the importance of Eid The same happens with the moon at night.

We always avoid to go to the markets on chaand raat. But we apply henna and wear bangles. I can apply henna by myself so I apply henna to my sisters every moon night.

Eid Day

On the day of Eid, I woke up at five in the morning so that I could help my brother and Abu. The time for Eid prayers was six o'clock in the morning, so now the brothers are ready to go to the mosque for Eid prayers. After they left, I fell asleep again and then woke up at eight in the morning. After that I had breakfast and helped my mother.

After that, I started getting ready for Eid. I bought my Eid dress from Mor-e-bagh. This time I made a black dress. After that, we made some pictures and videos. We all got ready (me and my sisters). We avoid going outside on Eid. So we stay at home and enjoy our Eid.

As soon as the day of Eid begins, sweets are made first in every house. In our house, sweet pudding was made and after the animal sacrifice, salted meat and biryani were also made.

The day of Eid just passes by eating and drinking and getting ready. My Eid was very good. Don't forget to tell me how your Eid went.
