My First Karaoke: Comic Strip
This is a very funny story that happened when I was in college. Before being in college, I didn't go out that much. But once in college I started to go to bars, pubs or karaokes.
Actually I love karaoke!! It's one of the activities that my wife and I do when we go back to Costa Rica to see all of our friends in a single place.
Anyway, let's see the comic :P (this is a short one)
It's pretty funny how to me it was like the biggest performance of my life. We sang "Amiga Mia" from Alejandro Sanz. I really liked the song back then, so I didn't need the lyrics to sing it... it was all by memory.
However, a friend recorded us in video and got evidence that our performance sucked... The good thing is that the deleted it before I could see it, so in my memory it was THE BEST KARAOKE EVER

Hahahahah I know this effect all to well, even though I am not a karaoke participator. I recall a story from college, obviously was retold to me later, post blackout state, I proceeded to call the attention of the room for group toasts of "gin" that had responsibly been exchanged for water by my friends. Literally, pour the gin into a glass and replaced it with water in the bottle. Served me repeatedly in front of the whole apartment crowd with party attendants, and allowed me to repeat this toasting process. Even asked how the gin was, and my response was to classic... I swear, you can't make this $%*t up...
"Like WATER!"

Lolz hahahahahaha you were at that critical point where it's hard to identify the alcohol, so even if it was gin... You'd probably wouldn't be able to notice that much the difference, haha but still this story is hilarious hahaha. Man blackouts are either super funny once you hear the stories of what you did.... Or completely terrifying hahaha luckily for you it was hilarious

Lol nice! I love seeing drunk people do karaoke! I saw a dj convince a very burly drunk guy to sing a whole new world from Aladin to his wife lol

Oh man he really got into it! The dj sang the girl part it was hilarious, idk if his wife liked it or not by the looks of it she was pretty sober lol
This is hilarious haha I had to tell my wife about this comment haha we both laugh imagining the two singing getting all emotional while the wife was making angry faces lol
I broke-in my fake ID a long time ago at a karaoke bar, and I became a regular. Mr. K's. Good times.
Karaoke is the best! After the first song you loosen up and then it becomes easier and easier to sing haha. I bet you had lots of fans there
With all evidence gone you can proclaim it as best karaoke ever. No one will ever know! Your secret is safe with me.
I'm no karaoke fan, but I've belted out a tune or two when drunk also. Thank god camera phones weren't so big back then, lol.
Haha your right, I'll now add ridiculous facts every time, like that we had a stand up ovation and girls were asking for our phone numbers haha.
Yeah you got lucky, kids this days won't be that lucky anymore, everything might be recorded they want it or no haha
Definitely embellish the story. All good stories need embellishment. And this is a great story.
Yes the recording of everything will have some interesting effects on behaviour over time, i would imagine. Or a lessening of the worry about being recorded, perhaps.
yeah maybe a lessening... dunno...
you forgot that the important thing about entertainment is probably not the singing that is entertaining...it could be your antics on the stage that is entertaining.
Oh for sure we were really good at entertaining people haha one of my friends says he remember recording while laughing so hard hahaha... Good times

haha no I never got to watch it because my friends deleted it before I could... however I still karaoke (drunk or not haha), it's a very fun activity both my wife and I enjoy to do
