Introduce myself

Hello steem!

This is all new to me but here goes!

My names aydan, 24. I'm from Australia. I'm a production worker inside a local aluminium smelter. I work a 4 days on 4 days off roster, it leave a shit load of free time. I felt my time instead of sitting on the couch watching Netflix; could be better spent making money. Mowing lawns on the side was just not going to cut it. Technology was always a part of me growing up, so that's where I would begin.

Over the past 6 months this has now become an obsession. I will say as a younger person, I was actually terrible saving money. Investing never crossed my mind, I was definitely a live for the moment type operator.

How was I to start investing? Easy, YouTube! I spent hour an hours watching people's videos on their successes and fails. I begun trading small cap stocks on the asx. After a month or two I felt I was getting no where. It was very much side ways motion. I felt beat.

Here I was back on Netflix, wasting my days. That's when I stumble on "banking on bitcoin"! It was like I was a cave man discovering fire. I was absolutely hooked. Little did I know I would be infatuated by the cryptocurrency world for the next three months.

I begin trading in this new world. Shitty timing it was about 1 month after ethereum had taken off. But as I had learnt over the past 6 months diversity was key. So I adapted that to my cryptocurrency portfolio, being over 800 currencies. I did my research and dove in.

Here I am today. I still feel very green to this new world that surrounds me. But I do think this will be our world of the future. A decentralised world.
