Frustrated Steemians just relax...
Number of people having rants about Steemit is becoming ridiculous!
'Grrrrr no one upvoted my post'
'No one is commenting on my posts'
'My posts don't have views'
'Steemit is censoring me!'
I understand it can be frustrating, I was frustrated 2 weeks ago and was questioning should I stay on Steemit. But I realized some things we all should understand...
Number of people on Steemit is just fraction of people using Facebook and other social platforms, so to except massive following, upvoting or commenting is unrealistic.
From that small number of people using Steemit, only fraction of them are active on Steemit every day (probably less than 30%). Most of your followers are rarely or not active at all.
Your active followers are from different time zones. Most of them don't scroll too much, so chances they will see your post are small.
Why you except anything from anyone on Steemit? If you see rant from someone you follow on how people don't upvote and comment on their posts, your thoughts will be 'Why is this person telling me what should I upvote or comment'...so if you don't want anyone to tell you what you should upvote or comment, don't be hypocrite and expect that from others.
You must realise you are just one of many many people trying to make it on Steemit. Your posts are just drop in ocean of articles and photos.
It takes time to gain followers that are interested in your blog. You can't gain big number of followers in one month. Do you know how much time some people were writing their blog before they gain bigger number of followers...in 99% of cases it took them years for that.
If you are writing your blog on Steemit only for the money, you will soon become frustrated because it takes a lot of time to get noticed on Steemit and make money of it.
So...just relax and write about things you are interested in. Don't bother yourself with money and number of followers or comments. When you forget about it, you will not longer feel frustration. Instead you will write your blog with passion. Followers will come eventually, it just takes time. Relax and enjoy your journey on Steemit...

Tbh, I signed up on steemit because of the potential to earn money. However, as I spend more time here, I started to understand the passion of most users here, which is not about money at all. It's really a great community.
I found myself spending more time here than on other social media platforms because I learn new stuff and enjoy reading lots of good content here.
In my view writing on Steemit is because you like writing or blogging. And for your message to be herad it is important that you build a group of followers. Don't think about the money.
