I know steem monsters mentioned that in this phase before the battleing begins that the cards being sold won't have more made. So the gold cards we have today are the only ones in circulation, so in a year or 2 maybe those will be worth something. Unless they create monsters that are just more powerful and soon overtake the use of the gold cards that you got today. Making them worth a bit less money.
