    Umm... but 'likes' were the thing on Instagram.. What hashtags are to Twitter, likes are to Insta..

    Blah. I stopped using it awhile ago though, but now I definitely won't be using again.

    That will discourage engagement especially if other websites do the same then slowly we will be discouraged from doing calls of action AKA voting and I think we have enough trouble gathering votes and genuine engagement as it is..

    You are right. There are already alternatives of the platform like Appics and others, so maybe less people will use instagram after that.
