Do we pay for our own extinction ?

Following all the news with the situation in the world I see us paying for our own extinction all the time. Those who are organizing this don't want to destroy us directly because they need us anyway. For example to pay taxes or to consume what they produce. But, the question is why they are trying so hard to make us weak if they see us useful for them ? Maybe they don't need the competition and they are afraid to lose their power.

The problem I'm talking about here is the things we do to destroy our health for example. Some of us smoke because it was promoted all the time in movies that smoking is cool. But, it's dangerous and we all know it. So, why it's allowed in this case. The same about alcohol and other things we pay for a lot of money to destroy ourselves. There are also things we eat and drink like chips or sodas. That's not healthy as well.

I think the solution is just to boycott everything that is harmful for us, to do everything to consume things we don't really need. We should filter also the information we receive because the promotion can be hidden very well.
