Albert Einstein's rise to fame originally began in what could be called his Annus Mirabilis (miraculous year). In that year he published ground-breaking papers that would revolutionize modern physics including one theory that predicted the relationship E = mc^2 (Special relativity), this relationship is today dubbed "The most famous equation" in the world.

Even though his theories stood the test of time, his rise to fame wasn't an easy feat as there were human obstacles and one such example was the Polish American physicist Ludwik Silberstein, who was well-known for challenging some of Einstein's theories. In one particular incident, Einstein wrote a letter to him[Silberstein] that contained the world's famous equation (E = mc^2) in response to one of his questions, today (57 years later) the letter still lives on and has been sold at an auction price worth millions of US dollars by his[Silberstein] descendants.....Read more
