How The DollarVigilante Is Saving Steemit

This isn't another post about the man himself. I had never heard of him before I saw his post trending, and haven't as yet taken time to look into what he has done to earn it. I have however read almost every post about him on steemit since his arrival. What he has done, is start a real discussion and pulled back some of the curtains.
In my month on steemit I have yet to see someone cause this type of heated debate. More importantly I think, is how he is doing it.... BY NOT GOING AWAY. I am thinking of our Playboy model and others who have come and made a post, done well, and then went into obscurity. Mr. Berwick has not done that, he has commented on most posts regarding him, and defended his actions every step of the way. If I know nothing else about the man, I know I admire that.
I have never seen so much discussion on the system and how it works. The in-depth discussions in the comments regarding flag philosophy, the changes that could be made as a result. Most importantly, to me, was how many people realized they need to get past the title before deciding on their actions.
