 ▶️ Information becomes the most expensive commodity. Personal data and passwords are the keys to your identity, your accounts, accounts in any social networks and websites. Many people are very careless about passwords and their accounts, believing that they have nothing to steal. But even the password itself and the primary data about the person are very important.

 ▶️ According to statistics, the most common password is”123456". Also often they choose “qwerty”, "admin123", and other very simple passwords that give attackers great opportunities. And even though companies spend a lot of money on two-factor authentication, server protection measures, all their efforts are useless while people use such weak passwords. The reason is very simple - people do not like complex passwords, they do not want to remember them.

The REMME project is designed to solve the issue of passwords

 ▶️ How many times have you forgotten your social network or email account passwords? How often have you entered simple combinations, not to get confused? This seriously violates your virtual security and hacking one account can provide fraudsters access to a huge array of personal data.

 ▶️ No more passwords-no more hacking. REMME is an open-source public key infrastructure (PKI) protocol with a set of DApps to provide password-free authentication for people and devices. 

The main advantages of REMME are:

1. The project does not provide a single certification center.
2. All devices can be securely accessed without a password.
3. Users control their own data. The user is given a private key, with which he gets access to all the necessary information.
4. Registration is very fast, as a result of which the user's personal data is recorded in the blockchain - this information cannot be replaced or deleted.

 ▶️ A very important feature of the project is the fact that REMME does not use passwords. It does not matter what security system the site uses if the user opens an account with the simplest password, which is not difficult to crack. But if hacking a social network can cause social harm only to the account owner, then hacking accounts in online banking will lead to serious financial problems.

 ▶️ REMME uses blockchain in the public key infrastructure, due to which the data recorded in the database remains unchanged. REMME eliminates unnecessary passwords as the weakest part of the security system. The risk of attacks is reduced, and the cost of organizing corporate security systems is falling.

 ▶️ REMME tried to attract not well-known faces, but really the best specialists who could benefit REMME and the technology they developed. In the crypto world, everything is very overpriced – people want high salaries and have concrete expectations.

 ▶️ The core-REMME team consists of 20-25 people. Their mentor is Professor Roman Oleinikov. He works for the IOHK engineering company, which develops the Cardano Coin (ADA) cryptocurrency – one of the top cryptocurrencies in capitalization in the world. In addition, Professor Oleynikov is a co-author of the existing cryptographic standards in Ukraine. Alexey Baranovsky is responsible for the cryptographic component and for the general security of the company. In addition, the team includes Nick Belogorsky, who was responsible for the personal safety of Mark Zuckerberg. Of course, they have people who are engaged in legal issues, marketing, and the community. It is very important to establish proper work with 20,000 people – that's how many people REMME community has.
