Wedding day in Gravina in Puglia

Weddings in Puglia are moments that must be celebrated with long lunches and dinners, consisting of endless courses and plenty of food. Sometimes it seems that the beauty of marriage is proportional to the amount of food tasted, immersed in an enchanting space.

This time I was a guest at the La Cavallerizza reception hall in Gravina in Puglia, immersed in a majestic nineteenth-century villa, surrounded by well-kept and spacious gardens.

The interior of the villa consists of a large modern room, not in line with the age of the structure but very comfortable and well lit. There were many courses, alternating seafood (seafood, salmon, fried seafood, etc.) with traditional dishes such as grilled vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts and much more.

The party in the hall lasted over 10 hours and at the end of the evening we were all tired and really full of food. Weddings in Puglia are not simple!

I matrimoni in Puglia sono momenti che devo essere festeggiati con lunghi pranzi e cene, costituite da infinite portate e cibo in quantità. A volte sembra che la bellezza del matrimonio sia proporzionale alla quantità di cibo degustato, immersi in uno spazio incantevole.

Questa volta sono stato ospite presso la sala ricevimenti La Cavallerizza a Gravina in Puglia, immersi in una maestosa villa dell'Ottocento, circondata da giardini ben curati e ampi.

L'interno della villa è costituita da una grande sala moderna, non in linea con l'età della struttura ma molto confortevole e ben illuminata. Le portate sono state tante, alternando piatti di mare (frutti di mare, salmone, frittura di mare, etc) a piatti tradizionali come verdure grigliate, formaggi, salumi e tanto tanto altro.
