The Coronavirus emergency in Italy
Italy is the third country in the world by number of infected with Coronavirus, to date there are over 160 infected and 3 victims. Most of the infections occurred in specific areas of the country, specifically in some regions of Northern Italy, and some sporadic episodes in the central area of the country, namely the regions of Lazio and Emilia Romagna.
The small inhabited centers in which there have been contagions, we speak of countries of a few thousand inhabitants, to date are closed and isolated, in order to avoid further possibility of spreading the virus. It is a fairly surreal situation but the panic that is spreading is quite tangible. The supermarkets of the Lombardy region, in which the metropolis of Milan is located, were stormed and literally emptied of basic necessities.
Some small hospitals in the isolated centers have been closed to prevent those who were infected from avoiding going to densely frequented places, risking also infecting the medical staff. Admissions to cinemas, theaters, certain sports stadiums have been banned, pubs must obligatorily anticipate closure.
It is a surreal but necessary situation for this small outbreak to remain so and, while waiting for the production of an effective vaccine, the spread of Coronavirus is avoided as much as possible. We hope that in the next few days we can have good news and resume the normal standard of living to which we are accustomed as soon as possible.

I'm in Korea, we are beating you at number 2! We are very close to over 1000 and will certainly be there by the next numbers update tonight or tomorrow.
Good luck and stay safe!
