Agriturismo Occhio Mininno
We had lunch in a truly exceptional agriturismo, immersed in the nature and history of the accommodation, called Occhio Mininno. Nestled in the countryside of Ruvo di Puglia, the structure is built purely in white stone, incorporating older structures, called Trulli, that is the old houses of the shepherds and peasants of the place, typical of the landscape of Puglia.
The nature that surrounds the agriturismo is really well cared for down to the last detail and the vegetation becomes the subject of the structure even inside, with truly exceptional floral compositions and decorations. The reception of the waiters and staff was unique, all of them always available to solve the requests of the guests and to explain the individual lunch courses.
The arrangement of the tables was unique, with a large central table and all the guests sitting at the same table, encouraging interaction even among those who did not know each other. The dishes that came to the table were very simple, made exclusively with products that the farm cultivates in its fields. Dishes very simple but with an intense flavor, always well cared for and ordered when served.
Cold cuts, cheeses, grilled vegetables, meat at will, pasta produced the same morning, divine desserts ... It is difficult to find criticism in this isolated place and from the city world and for this magic, especially in the evening when the well-arranged lights revealed so many unique details.

Abbiamo pranzato in un agriturismo davvero eccezionale, immerso nella natura e nella storia della struttura ricettiva, chiamato Occhio Mininno. Immerso nelle campagne di Ruvo di Puglia, la struttura è costruita prettamente in pietra bianca, inglobando strutture più vecchi, denominati Trulli, ossia le vecchie abitazioni dei pastori e contadini del luogo, tipiche del paesaggio della Puglia.
La natura che circonda l'agriturismo è davvero ben curata nei minimi dettagli e la vegetazione diventa soggetto della struttura anche all'interno, con composizioni floreali e decorazioni davvero eccezionali. L'accoglienza dei camerieri e dello staff è stata unica, tutti sempre disponibili nel risolvere le richieste degli invitati e nel spiegare le singole portate del pranzo.
La disposizione dei tavoli era unica, con una grande tavolata centrale e tutti gli ospiti seduti allo stesso tavolo, favorendo l'interazione anche tra coloro che non si conoscevano. I piatti che giungevano a tavola erano molto semplice, fatti esclusivamente con prodotti che l'agriturismo coltiva nei suoi campi. Piatti molto semplice ma dal sapore intenso, sempre ben curati e ordinati nell'impiattamento.
Salumi, formaggi, verdure grigliate, carne a volontà, pasta prodotto la mattina stessa, dolci divini... E' difficile trovare delle critiche in questo luogo isolato e dal mondo cittadino e per questo magico, specie la sera quando le luci ben disposte svelavano tanti dettagli davvero unici.
