ENJOYING ABUNDANCE IN SCARCITY
Hello great parishioners of the ever first church in the block chain,I welcome everyone present here in the name of our Lord Jesus. Today is another remarkable today that our Lord Jesus has made and it is going to be a wonderful day for us all. I would like to appreciate our founder of this great church in no other person than our amiable knight of the church @sirknight, we all thank you sir.
On the lighter note, I would like to talk about something important in the Bible that relate perfectly to our lives as christians. I title this topic"ENJOYING ABUNDANCE IN SCARCITY".
My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, before I start, let talk about the meaning of the word "SCARCITY" it means "shortage of something or not enough" while that of "ABUNDANCE" means "ENOUGH, PLENTY OF SOMETHING". With this understanding, relating it to the lives as christians ,we are not looking at life from a purely physical realm. It is beyond what we merely see, as Gisle Sorli said
"our definition and understanding of whatever scarcity and abundance means is shaped by remembering who is God, what God cares about, and how God does things".Childern of God,for us to enjoy this abundance in scarcity,we must possess an uncommon faith in God. It is a faith that says yes to whatever God's word says, irrespective of whatever situation you find yourself or irrespective of how impossible it seems. Looking at the times of old testament in the Bible, during the days of ELIJAH when there was great famine and scarcity, "the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the Brook" 1 kings 17:6 It was because of the uncommon faith of prophet Elijah that kept alive through out the days of famine,

Jesus Christ himself demonstrated this in the book of Matthew 14;13-21. In the story of feeding of the five thousand people with five loaves and two fishes. At first , the disciples viewed life from the physical realm when they said "we only have five loaves and two fishes",i.e they have limited(scarcity) of resources. But our Lord Jesus Christ told them to bring it forward, and he multiplied it which only did not feed the five thousand people but they had twelve (12) basket of leftovers.
The significant of this story is that while the disciples viewed it from the physical realm because they lack the uncommon faith, our Lord Jesus Christ prove it to us all that there is nothing impossible for our God to do.
A similar story is told in the book of 1 kings 17:7-16, where prophet Elijah had an encounter with the widow of zarephath. She was about to run out of food and oil,as that was the last she had left for she and her son to eat and die,but because she submitted to the prophet Elijah's request to feed him first, her small amount of food left Never ran out through out the days of the famine. This was as a result of the "uncommon faith". Trusting in God in the times of difficulties and hardship.
My dear beloved brothers and sisters,I want to let you know that we all are serving a king who has abundance at His disposal. No wonder our amiable @sirknight thought it wise to serve as a knight to our Lord Jesus Christ in his vineyard.
It is my prayer that God gives us all the UNCOMMON FAITH for this uncommon miracles of divine supply through Christ our Lord.
*GOD BLESS US ALL!
Thanks for reading, do have a blessed day ahead from @cjofficial.
