Tutorial - Make a simple Cube Robot using Blender

Today i want to contribute in Utopian Categories Tutorial, tutorial i discussed is about Blender software.

As we know about Blender software is one of the 3D animation software that is currently on the rise. Because Blender is considered quite effective, cheap, and easy to use. Commands contained in Blender software is simplified by using keyboard shorcuts, for that we have to remember some keyboard shorcuts. It's not hard to be able to memorize the keyboard shorcut from Blender software, because Blender allows us to use the initials or initial letters of the menu name. ex: Grab menu is use shortcut G, Rotate: R, Scale: S, Box Selection: B. X: X, Hide: H, Move to layer: M, Extrude: E, and so on. Of course not all menus/commands use the initials of the name of the menu. There is also combination of CTRL, SHIFT and ALT commands.
In Blender software to be able to select or activate the object is use right click on mouse, while in software 3ds Max and Maya is use left click. Although this setting can overridden via menus in user preferences > input > select with.

In this tutorial i will discuss how to make a simple cube Robot using Blender software.

1. Open the Blender software by double click on the Blender icon, by default or when opening the Blender.
   
2. Create an object for the Robot body
   
3. Add object to make Robot neck
   
4. Next, make a Robot head
   
5. The cube is made in the shape of a Robot hand
   
6. Turn the cube into a waist Robot
   
7. Change the shape of cube to the shape of the Robot foot
   
8. Modify the cube into a hat for Robot
   
9. Add texture and materials to Robot object
   
   
10. Final result after rendering
