Philosophy 101: You First. Everything Else Comes After.

A motto that I stuck with when needing the courage to leave for China. Some might view it as selfish but only because they wouldn't truly understand it. You can be a good person and commit many selfless acts and still stay true that motto. Once you've taken care of yourself and made many achievements, giving back more to the world would be no hard task. People often get married at such young ages and then have children and still work a job they hate. That can affect your outlook on life. Sure, you can still make a change, but lets's face it; it's easier accomplishing more when you're single. Focus on you first. Once you're happy you can then direct all that positive energy towards a valued relationship and make it work. You can start to provide more to all those around you. You'll build more confidence to tackle things you never knew you could before. Your life will change for the absolute better and you'll begin to experience many new wonderful experiences.

Traveling has forever changed my life and given me a new perspective on life. I've seen many wonderful sights such as the pictures you see above. Most people stay in one place their entire lives when there's a whole world to explore. A world that belongs to you and I. Everyone needs to go out and travel and I'm not talking about constant yearly cruise trips to the Bahamas. Get out there. Leave your comfort zone and go on an adventure. Get cultured. You'll learn much and mature so much more. The universe will open up for you. Others will judge you for chasing such wild opportunities. Don't let that deter you. Instead, continue on your path and eventually they will judge themselves for their lack of ambition. There's a huge difference between happiness and being content. Find your happiness. You first. Everything else comes after.
